Our Director of Religious Education

Beth Clifton has worked in the field of volunteer resource management for more than 20 years.  She has a degree in social work and has worked primarily in nonprofits.  In those settings, she has managed thousands of volunteer positions.

She grew up Presbyterian in a church where her family members were very involved as organist, choir director, treasurer, Elders, committee chairs, Sunday school teachers, etc.).  She came to UUCC in 2006 for what started out as a temporary summer position which has morphed into so much more!

As Director of Religious Education (sometimes called Director of Faith Development), she works with the children, youth and adults of the community.  This is done individually, through committee work, and by creating and coordinating programming.  She believes it's a small world and it's all connected.
