Rising K-5th grade students are invited to join us as we explore the outdoors in our
“Summer Sco(UU)t” program! Each week will feature a different scouting experience. We will be joined by “Scouting Guides” from the congregation who will share information about, and help us explore particular topics.Students will spend most weeks outdoors where they will have the opportunity to explore topics such as outdoor food, first aid, gardening, “nature” music, games, natural crafts, and MORE! They will even have the chance to earn “badges”!
Each student will be required to have a Summer Release Form filled out and signed.

Rising 6th-12th grade students are invited to join in as we explore another thought provoking “Video-Discussion Summer Series”!

Each Sunday this summer, we will watch an episode of a TV show with race-driven themes. Afterward, we will take part in a facilitated discussion around what feelings come up, what questions remain, and how our UU values fit in. This will be a new and interesting way to explore the topics of racial justice, how life experience differs between races and other race-related issues in our world.

Some of the shows featured will include “Black-ish“, “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air“, “That’s So Raven”, “The Proud Family” & More!

More information about each program
