Service is our way!

Unitarian Universalists create spirituality and community beyond boundaries, working for more justice and love in our lives and the world. The Social Action Ministry (SAM) conducts and coordinates service projects annually. We integrate social activism with other church activities. SAM’s activities include the Fourth Sunday Charity plate donation, the August Drive for School Supplies, and the Annual Holiday Giving Tree Project to benefit families in the community.

UUCC’s Social Action Ministry puts our spirituality into practice as a church without walls that offers a life-affirming and inclusive voice to the larger community. We partner with other faith communities and such organizations as ReEstablish Richmond, Richmonders Involved in Strengthening Our Communities.

Contact the UUCC office or ask a greeter at church this Sunday to get involved in current programs. Members and friends can find out details the eNews and sign up for projects on OneChurch.
