Our Unitarian Universalist church in Glen Allen is financially independent. We get no funding from our national organization, the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Every year, we ask each member and friend to make a financial commitment so that we can effectively and responsibly care for our church building and land, plan our church programs, and further our mission and vision.

More than eighty percent of UUCC’s income comes from the contributions of members and friends who pledge and make regular donations to the church. The rest comes from other fundraising activities such as our annual auction, the Baker’s DUUzen’s monthly bake sales, our Shady Grove Coffee House concerts, and non-pledged income from the Sunday morning offering.

Our Stewardship Committee organizes our annual stewardship campaign as well as other fun and successful events during the year. Gifts to our church now will empower our Hanover County faith community to be here to comfort and inspire future generations of UUs in the Richmond area.
